"Though I speak with the tongues of men and of Angels, and have not charity [love] I am become as sounding brass, and tinkling symbol. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, [love] I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor and though i give my body to be burned, and have not charity [love] it profiteth me nothing. Charity suffereth long and is kind, charity envieth not, charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth, beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things, charity never faileth; but whether there be prophecies they shall fail; whether there be tongues they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away; for we know in part, and we prophesy in part. But when that which is Perfect is come,that which is in part, shall be done away. When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, but when I became a man [an adult] I put away childish things; for now we see through a glass darkly, but then [ in heaven] face to face; now I know in part, but then shall I know even as also I am known. And now abideth these three, faith, hope and charity, but the greatest of these is charity [love]. " I Corinthians 13

"To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven;  a time to be born and a time to die; a time to plant and a time to pluck up that which is planted; a time to kill and a time to heal; and time to break down and a time to build up; a time to weep  and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance; and a time to cast away stones and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing; a time to get and a time to lose; a time to keep and a time to cast away; a time to rend and a time to sew; a time to keep silence and a time to speak; a time to love and a time to hate; a time of war and a time of peace. JESUS said, "but I say unto you, love your enemies; bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you; and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; that ye may be the children of your FATHER which is in heaven, for HE maketh HIS sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? Do not even the Publicans the same?" Matthew 5: 44-46
